All new students are required to complete the Online Onboarding.
The Online Onboarding serves as your one-stop resource for essential information and guidance designed to help you before the start of classes. It will guide you to:
- complete required safety trainings mandated by federal policies
- verify health insurance (either waive with proof of your own policy or enroll in our Anthem coverage)
- introduce you to MSJ’s varied technologies
- provide information for your advisors and professors
- serve as a one-stop resource for all new students
The Online Onboarding course opens in Canvas on MAY 01 and remains open the entire summer to serve as a resource page and contact venue if you have any questions. All Online Onboarding tasks are to be completed by AUGUST 01.
The Online Onboarding does not replace the in-person ROAR Day or WOW events; attendance at these events is required for all first-time freshmen and transfer students.
