Mount St. Joseph University's Choral Program presents music from around the world, singing in a variety of styles and languages. University Singers, our large ensemble, is open to everyone regardless or major or experience level in vocal music - no audition required!
Come and make music in an inclusive, fun environment with your friends while building your musicianship and learning some of the best choral repertoire written today. The Choral Program prioritizes music by living composers, and honors the diverse voices and experiences of its members through music.
In the past, choirs at the Mount have collaborated with the tri-state area's major choruses such as MUSE, the Cincinnati Men's Chorus, and the Cincinnati Young Professionals Choral Collective. Chamber Singers worked with the Theatre Program on a premier work (The Spoon River Requiem) in 2021. Choirs may also support the bi-annual musicals that take place on campus.
