Welcome Week gets you ready for classes at Mount St. Joseph University just before they start.
Welcome Week is a celebration of new students arriving at the Mount! Plan on having some fun as you get to know classmates, upperclassmen, staff, and faculty. All new first-year students and transfer students must attend.

Welcome Week for ALL MSJ students begins on Saturday, Aug. 17 through Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024.
Welcome Week Service Day
The Welcome Week Service Day at MSJ invites all students, faculty, staff, and alumni to participate in a campus-wide service event on August 24th from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
The event offers five volunteer options: Imago, BLOC Ministries, EarthConnection, Freestore Foodbank, and Western Wildlife Corridor. RSVP is required, and volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
Check-in is at 8 a.m. in the Theater Lobby, where participants will complete a waiver, receive a free t-shirt, and enjoy snacks.
Volunteers should provide their own transportation, though limited space is available for students without it. The event concludes with lunch at Noon.
