Move-In Days are an exciting time to get comfortable in your new home at Mount. St. Joseph University.

Move-In Days will be the start of your college career. So, unpack those boxes, and welcome to your new home in Seton Residence Hall!

Move-In Times for INCOMING FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS for Fall 2024 residing in Seton Residence Hall are welcome to move in on Wednesday, August 14th according to the following schedule:

  • A-L – 8:30 -10 a.m.
  • M-Z – 10:30 a.m. – Noon

Move-In Times for FALL ATHLETES for Fall 2024 residing in Seton Residence Hall are welcome to move in on Monday, August 12th.

  • 9 – 10 a.m. Move-in
    • Dance
    • Cheerleading
  • 9 a.m. – Noon Move-in
    • Men & Women’s Soccer
    • Women’s Volleyball
    • Men & Women’s XC
    • Men & Women’s Golf
  • Noon – 4 p.m. Move-in
    • A-L Football -- Noon – 2 p.m.
    • M-Z Football -- 2 – 4 p.m.

Move-In Times for RETURNING STUDENTS:

  • Returning students can move into the Seton Residence Hall on the following days between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
    • Friday, August 16th
    • Saturday, August 17th
    • Sunday, August 18th
  • Please check in at the Office of Residence Life, Seton 132. 
  • Information for move-in times, forms, and other information was sent to your @msj.edu student email address.

MOVE-IN DIRECTIONS – View the Campus Map Here.

  • Arrive on campus during your designated move-in time and check-in in at the Seton Fountain Entrance (#11 on the campus map).
    • Returning students please refer to the ‘Returning Students’ section above for information.
    • Once cleared they will receive their room key and drive to the designated parking spaces located in the ‘Seton South Lot’ on the campus map.
      • MSJ supplies a cart to assist with moving items in.
      • Residence Assistance will be present to assist your student with the move-in process.
        • Once all items are moved into the residence hall you must move your vehicle to the parking garage located off Neeb Rd.
