Have you earned college credit while still in high school? Although Mount St. Joseph University does not offer College Credit Plus (CCP) courses, we will gladly review college credits earned!
Please follow the steps below to begin the review process:
Step 1: Complete your Mount St. Joseph University application at www.msj.edu/apply and submit all necessary application documents. Visit your status page for questions concerning the status of your application. Visit the Admission page or contact the Office of Admission at admission@msj.edu with any questions concerning the application process.
Step 2: Upon completion of the CCP/ Dual Credit class(es), request that your official college transcript(s) be sent directly from the institution to Mount St. Joseph University at:

Step 3: Upon being admitted to the Mount and once we’ve received your official college transcript, the review of your transfer credit will begin. The time it takes to place CCP/Dual Credit classes on a student’s Mount St. Joseph University transcript varies from case to case. During this evaluation, the Office of Admission will review your transfer work for Core Curriculum and general credit. Academic departments will also determine the applicability of transfer courses to their program requirements, your academic department will receive a copy of your evaluation. You will then receive a copy of your completed evaluation by mail. Your transcript analyst’s contact information will be provided with your evaluation so you can then follow-up with any questions or concerns that you might have.
