Prepare to Transform Lives Through Physical Therapy

Our Mission

Engaging students in a personalized and collaborative learning environment that empowers them to become physical therapists who have a commitment to life-long learning, a passion for serving others, and a dedication to interprofessional practice that inspire them to optimize the health and well-being of the community.

Our Program

The Mount’s DPT Program is a 117-credit hour, 9 semester, 3 year curriculum designed to build from semester to semester as students develop the necessary knowledge and skills to be professional and proficient physical therapists. The first year presents foundational knowledge from which students can build initial clinical skills, culminating in a 4-week full-time introductory clinical education experience. The second-year clinical courses build from the basic knowledge, skills and reasoning in organized practice pattern and population-based courses. The third year builds on the advanced didactic knowledge, skills and reasoning by putting them into practice during 4, 9-10-week full-time clinical education experiences, giving our students 38 weeks of practice in 4 unique practice settings to hone their skills and prepare them for the NPTE and securing their first-choice in employment.
