Dr. Erin Hofmeyer’s journey from Seton High School student to educator has come full circle. A proud Seton alumna, Erin Hofmeyer is now an assistant professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Mount St. Joseph University, where she helps prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

 

Featured in Seton High School’s Spring 2026 magazine, Erin reflects on the strong foundation she gained at Seton—one rooted in service, leadership, and confidence-building experiences that inspired her path into healthcare and physical therapy.

 

Today, Dr. Hofmeyer serves as Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Mount’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. A three-time Mount graduate, she earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees at the University and now teaches future clinicians in leadership, professional development, healthcare policy, and geriatric physical therapy.
