Mount St. Joseph University Proudly Announces The Mount News Team as the April "Pride of the Lions"!
Dear Mount Community,
I am pleased to report that the "Pride of the Lions" Award for the month of April goes to The Mount News Team: Greg Goldschmidt, Amanda Absher, Kara Uhl, and the Mount News Editorial Team! This group developed a comprehensive Mission-focused Mount News issue, including highlighting aspects of a fantastic Academic Year:
- an overview of a Beloved and Enduring Mission;
- a graphical description of the Mount's Sponsorship Transition process;
- a celebration of the Mater Dei Chapel's recognition on the National Register of Historic Places - as well as an alumna who helped create the Chapel's artwork;
- efforts to promote the Mater Dei Chapel Restoration (and upgrading) Fund; and
- stories of five MSJ Alumni Leaders who are "Lighting the Way" in their communities.
