Mount St. Joseph University proudly announces Associate Provost and Acting Dean for the School of Behavioral and Natural Sciences, Dr. Christa Currie, as the July "Pride Of The Lions!”
Dear Mount Community,
Please join me in recognizing Dr. Christa Currie as the Pride of the Lions for the month of July 2023. Christa served as the acting Provost from December 2022 until July 2023, and has done so in an exemplary manner. She tackled the difficult task of budget reductions and navigated transitions in Academic Support departments along with all the “normal” activity and matters that come with the Provost role. She did these things with great professionalism.
I am grateful for her counsel and ability to analyze situations both critically and compassionately. Christa will continue to perform double duties in her role as Associate Provost and as the Acting Dean for the School of Behavioral and Natural Sciences.
