Biography:

Greg Goldschmidt joined Mount St. Joseph University's Division of Marketing & Communications in September 2015. He leads a team of creative and marketing specialists and agencies to advance the brand strategy of the University. Greg has a proven track record of success in building brand awareness and prestige, driving enrollment, and enhancing advancement—telling the Mount’s story through marketing & communications strategy, creative planning, and execution of pictures, sound, video, words, and experiences.

These initiatives include the launch of three institutional branded stories (Climb Higher, The Heart of a Lion, and Light the Way), the creation of two iconic campus sculptures (Catamount St. Joseph, the MSJ Letters), and the branding of one new and three renovated facilities. In 2024, Greg received the Salesian Guild Outstanding Communicator Award, a recognition given to a communication professional who demonstrates both professional excellence and a strong faith in action within their workplace. In 2022 he received the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award, the highest honor bestowed by Mount St. Joseph University, and in 2021, received the AMA Foundation Higher Education Marketing Team of the Year Award which honors extraordinary leadership and achievement in the field of higher education marketing.

Greg earned his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Mount St. Joseph University. He is currently training in the MSJ Beacon Ambassador program, guest lectures & critiques classes, and serves as a mentor to MSJ students. Greg is also an owner of Toy Rocket Studios, LLC, where he co-created SnoCraft, a series of designer paper snowflake templates, and led the digital expansion of SnoCraft product lines. Greg, his wife Angela (MSJ alumna), and their six children have lived in Greater Cincinnati for more than 15 years.
