Biography:

Dr. Hofmeyer is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Physical Therapy Program at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she also earned her Bachelor of Health Science, Master of Physical Therapy, and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. Dr. Hofmeyer earned an Ed.D. in Leadership Studies at Xavier University in 2026. She has extensive leadership experience in the field, including serving on the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board from 2015-2023 and currently as OPTA State Affairs Chair and an elected Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates for Ohio (2025-2027). Her teaching focuses on Professional Socialization, Administration/Consultation and Leadership, Advocacy, Health Care Policy, and Geriatric Physical Therapy. She holds memberships in numerous professional organizations, including APTA, OPTA, and the National Academies of Practice.
