Advanced Placement Credit
Upon successfully completing Advanced Placement courses and exams, you may apply for credit at Mount St. Joseph University. AP credit is posted to your Mount transcript as transfer credit.
You may submit AP scores to the Mount’s Registrar’s Office in three ways:
- Designate the Mount as a recipient of scores when registering for AP tests (Mount’s code: 1129).
- Have your high school send a copy of the AP test score transcript directly to the Mount’s Registrar’s Office; this document must include the high school’s official seal and a school official’s signature.
- Contact the AP office to send an official transcript of scores directly to the Mount’s Registrar’s Office. This can be done online, or by calling 1-888-CALL4AP.
International Baccalaureate Credit
Mount college credit is awarded for scores of 4 or higher on higher level exams only. A score of 4 equals 3 semester hours of credit in the specific discipline. An official transcript of IB scores must be sent directly to the Mount’s Registrar’s Office for evaluation.
