Develop discernment for the needs of others and facilitate the learning process as an Educational Studies major. We prepare students to change lives and impact communities through the powers of education and engagement. The Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies has two concentrations: Community Education and Engagement (CEEN) and Curriculum and Instruction (CI). The CEEN concentration prepares students for careers in community-based organizations, foster care agencies, childcare centers, schools and other community and educational institutions. The CI concentration prepares students for careers in school-based work that support students learning and growth. Both concentrations offer a solid foundation of humanities, sciences, and education courses, with flexibility for pursing electives, a minor, or even a dual major in an area of interest. Educational Studies graduates can pursue graduate programs in education, counseling, business administration, or organizational leadership.
