Students who minor in Art will discover a wealth of opportunities to explore and develop their artistic abilities.
The Dorothy Meyer Ziv Art & Design Building houses spacious studios with abundant natural light, Wi-Fi, late hours and the Studio San Giuseppe, an art gallery that welcomes students and visitors with engaging professional exhibitions, as well as with faculty and student exhibits.
We encourage you to explore cooperative education work assignments in you concentration. Majors from all academic departments are eligible to study or intern abroad through an agreement with AIFS (American Institute for Foreign Study) and Richmond University, London. We also encourage students to participate in Service Learning, a reflective educational experience unique to the Mount in which you can earn academic credit for meaningful community service activities, like involvement with Working in Neighborhoods (WIN) or Habitat for Humanity.
