Biography:

Erin Redle Sizemore is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in the School of Health Sciences. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, her master’s degree from Emerson College, and her undergraduate degree from Miami University. Additionally, she completed the Quality Scholars Training program through the Anderson Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Sizemore is a practicing speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. While she has practiced across the lifespan, her clinical focus is areas related to working with children and families in early intervention (birth to three years). Her specific interests include pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and childhood apraxia of speech. Dr. Sizemore’s research is also focused in these areas. She has been a co-investigator on grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Education/Office of Special Education Programs. Her current projects include understanding the impact of intra-uterine opioid disorders on young children and understanding complex speech sound disorders.  She has presented her work at the state, national, and international levels.

Dr. Sizemore and her husband live in Liberty Township with their three children.
