While the Omicron variant necessitated a shift in operations to temporary In*Sync virtual instruction for students and “remote work status” for employees, the University is open for business.  University offices and services remain open and activities and events continue to take place, subject to the health and availability of students and employees, as follows:

Campus Food Services- 5/3 Dining Hall and Harrington Food Court are open for normal business hours; beginning Tuesday, January 11, Starbuck’s will be open from 8 a.m. -2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

ISS and Help Desk- open in person on campus normal business hours.

Harrington Center and Centennial Field House – Harrington Center opens today, Monday, January 10, at noon;  resumes normal business hours going forward.

The Centennial Field House will open today, January 10, at 2 p.m. and remain open until 10 p.m. Going forward, the Field House will be open 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Fridays, and 1-5 p.m. on the weekends.

Wellness Center- open in person on campus normal business hours with reduced staff;  counseling appointments will be conducted virtually.

Library- The library will be offering a pick-up service for books and other materials requested from the MSJ Library or from OhioLINK. Beginning Tuesday, January 11, a pickup cart will be available in the hallway just outside the main entrance to the library. More details on this pickup service was sent to MSJ email accounts. Research assistance is available virtually.

Student Activities-  All student activities will continue as planned through the Offices of Residence Life,  Diversity & Inclusion, Mission Integration, and other student organizations.

Computer Lab- open normal business hours.

Roar Store- open normal business hours.

Student Administrative Services- open in person on campus normal business hours with reduced staff.

Academic Advising Resource Center- open in person on campus for limited hours with all other support available virtually.

Career and Experiential Education Center- all services offered virtually.

Project EXCEL– all services offered virtually.

The Learning Center – all services offered virtually.

Registrar’s Office – open in person on campus normal business hours with reduced staff.

Sporting Events on Campus- will continue as scheduled.

Fiscal- open in person on campus normal business hours with reduced staff.

Children’s Center- temporarily closed.

If an office has limited staff on campus to reduce density, additional staff are available virtually.  Please be mindful that changes to operations may be necessary to address health and wellness issues within our community. 

You are encouraged to call ahead to any offices before arriving for walk-in appointments and to check on the status of any activities before you arrive.  In all campus areas, masking over the nose and mouth is required and social distancing is encouraged.
