Biography:
Dr. Perkins is an Instructor of Physical Therapy teaching Neurologic Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, and Therapeutic Exercise in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Curriculum. She has a strong love for pediatrics where she has spent the majority of her PT career, mostly focusing on the specialty areas of neuro rehab and burn care. Currently, she shares her clinical skills in an adult inpatient rehab facility and is pursuing her Neurology Specialty Certification. She is an APTA member and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Taking part in community is important, as she is the Chair for the Everybody Counts Program in her community bringing awareness to elementary aged children regarding disabilities as well as a “buddy” for children with special needs at her church.
